Welcome to the home of Exelerate. We are a lot more than just a youth group – we're about equipping and teaching teens to reach teens!!! The future is yours for the taking, and at Exelerate you will find out that God has an awesome plan for the youth of today. In fact, two-thirds of what God wants to do in the Last Days...He wants to do through young people! Talk about the ride of your life...exploring life the way God intended!!!
Exelerate presents the Bible in a culturally relevant way so teenagers can put the truth of God’s Word into practice everyday. We have services every Wednesday night @ 7:30 (in the SCC Gym), as well as have regular youth worship (e:worship) nights, and parties. The bottom line is this - Every teenager needs to know God. After all, that's why God put you on the planet. And Exelerate is a weekly action-packed event all about helping you and God get together.
Anyone between 13 and 18 years old should experience Exelerate... we guarantee that you’ll also experience God somewhere along the way. See you there...Contact us at exelerate@christiancentre.ca.
REAL LIFE (discipleship)
REAL LIFE is Exelerate's 4 week discipleship course. Held in the Faith College Student Lounge on Wednesday nights @ 8:00, this small group event is short, sweet, and incredibily powerful. Jesus never told us to make students...He said to make disciples. REAL LIFE is a dynamic and to-the-point jump start on what it means to be a disciple of Christ. In this course, we talk about REAL LIFE HEART CHANGE (week one), REAL LIFE FEELINGS (week two), REAL LIFE RELATIONSHIPS (week three), and YOUR REAL LIFE WORLD (week four). On week five, after a teenager has completed the course, they will have an opportunity in our Exelerate service to make a public declaration of their faith. No teenager should go through Exelerate without experiencing REAL LIFE!!!
twentyfourseven (pre-teens)
Twentyfourseven is Christian Centre’s “pre-teen/tween” ministry – all about teaching tweens to live for Jesus 24 hours/day...7 days/week... starting right now!!!
We have pre-teen services every Wednesday night @ 7:30. By bridging the gap between children’s ministry and youth ministry, twentyfourseven strives to present the gospel in lively, fresh and colourful ways. In addition to regular classes, we also throw regular parties...because every tween has a wild side! Anyone who is 11 or 12 years old is more than welcome to attend twentyfourseven… unless of course, they don’t like to have fun, meet friends, win prizes, and have the Bible come to life.
